Welcome to our second part of Facebook for Christians. During this two-part series, we are reviewing the way we use our social networks, what we should avoid, and what we can leverage in order to see people won for Jesus.

I went on a short team mission trip in June of 2012. When I was there, I met many people and I added some on Facebook. A few months after I returned, I received a message from one of the guys I had met. He was in need of someone to talk to and he felt like nobody around him would understand. He needed someone to hear him out and feel significant, and I am glad that Facebook was my tool to minister to this guy.

When I came home for Spring Break in 2012, I went to my brother’s house and we got into a normal sibling dispute. I then proceed to post something rude on Facebook about him and all of my 700+ friends saw me air my dirty laundry to the world. With that being said, we need to become more intentional about what we put on our social media outlets and what I did was not smart. I deleted it the next morning because I realized something I hope this series will relay to many others:
